Global Financial Support by Country

United States

Unlike some other countries, the United States does not appear to have a blanket system in place that extends to all citizens. A personal finance course is required in only 17 of all 50 States and it is not confirmed that how money actually works is taught in any of the 17 States teaching the course.

Singapore – Compulsory Savings (CPF)

Every citizen has a personal savings account used for housing, retirement, and medical expenses.
→ Citizens don’t just pay taxes — they build personal wealth automatically.

Norway – Sovereign Wealth Fund

The country’s oil profits are shared by the people through national investments.
→ The government works for the people — and pays them back.

Germany – Early Financial Education + Strong Safety Nets

Children learn budgeting and financial systems in school. Healthcare and rent caps prevent families from falling into poverty. → Security isn’t luxury — it’s policy.

 Kenya – Village Savings Circles

Community-based savings groups where members pool money and support each other.
→ Even without banks, people create systems that work.

Jamaica – Cultural Hustle & Land Ownership

Financial independence is deeply cultural. Land is legacy. Entrepreneurship is survival.
→ Wealth is passed down through wisdom.

I find people and cultures fascinating. I’m always trying to figure out ways to do things and I often find myself researching how other cultures do them.

My wellness journey began when I traveled to Europe. I learned about approaches that were new to me. I’ve seen firsthand how one country’s approach to wellness had adverse effects on loved ones.

 Financial Literacy is a Right

Societies revolve around currencies and financial systems that are intended to simplify our day to day lives. There is nothing wrong with that. The problem lies within the ability of the people to understand money and how it can actually work for them.

In 2018, a global survey was conducted asking over 100,000 people in 15 different countries 3 simple questions about money concepts. 70% failed to answer all three basic questions correctly. CLICK HERE

Simple concepts are all people really need to be able to govern over their money more effectively. Knowing what they are, and how to use them in daily life, will help people de-stress and live happier and more abundant lives.
